About Me

My name is Curtis Lipsey—founder of Atlas Federal Consulting.  I'm a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, currently serving as a Contracting Specialist with the 123rd Contingency Response Group out of Louisville, KY. I joined the Air Force in 2020 with a strong desire to serve and a growing passion for federal acquisition and procurement strategy. After three formative years stationed in New Mexico, where I served as a Contracting Officer and Commodities team lead overseeing more than $21 million in government contract acquisitions, my wife and I are excited to be back home in Kentucky, reconnecting with family and building our future together.

I recently earned my Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Western Kentucky University, and I’m now focused on combining that education with my hands-on experience in federal procurement to help businesses confidently enter and thrive in the government contracting space.

Whether supporting mission-critical acquisitions or coaching small businesses in business development strategies, I lead with integrity, clarity, and a deep respect for service. My goal is to make the world of government contracting more accessible—and more profitable—for the business owners and entrepreneurs who keep our economy moving forward.
